What is inside the 2" Latex-Pillo Mattress Pillowtop Pad . . .
Native to Brazil LatexpedicAcirc; comes from the Hevea Brasilienis tree, originally native to the Amazon Jungles of Brazil. (the first rubber ball was invented by the Mayans over 3500 years ago.) Latex is white and milky in appearance, has an elastic consistency, and is removed from the tree through a process called "rubber tapping" - similar to tapping Maple Syrup from Maple Trees.
How the Latexpedic Mattress Pad Was Born
During
an extended business trip through Europe a tired American businessman stopped
in a small hotel in Switzerland. This businessman had already been
in the mattress and bed industry since 1964 with many inventions and innovations
under his belt. However to his surprise the bed in his hotel room had
an amazingly comfortable mattress. He awoke refreshed and without back
pain. He stayed another night just to sleep on the "miracle mattresss"
that had provided so much comfort. He soon realized that the 2" of
Soft Latex on top is what put the "luxury" and pressure-relief in this
"feel-good" sleep
system.
Upon returning to
America he discovered that if you put this 2" of Soft Latex on just about
"any" new mattress, you have this "feel-good, luxury" sleep system.
Soon, the Latexpedic Mattress Pad was born: a 2" Soft Luxurious Latex
Mattress Pad made of 100% Pure TALALAY Latex to the American Public.
Coming Standard with N1 Natural Latex and quilted one side
with all natural cotton and wool and offering a 4-corner strap system to
keep the topper snugly in plalce. Comes standard with a zippered
cover.

And some of our customers don't think 2" was quite enough. We can make the topper any thickness you wish, but we have several Latexpedic Mattress Models that already have either 6" or 8" or 10" of Latex Inside. The High Profile already has 1" extra inch of Softer Latex on Top. THE ULTIMATE already has 2" of Softer Latex on top. Example: Putting a Soft top on THE ULTIMATE Mattress, which already has 2" of Softer Latex on top, makes the total top really 4" of Softer Latex (built-in 2" of Soft Latex + 2" Latex Mattress Topper = 4" of Pure Softness.)
What is also nice, if you don't quite like the firmness that you purchased, it is really easy, with the zippered cover, to change the 2" Latex Foam MattressPad inside. And, if you ever have a service problem, or need a replacement, it is very easy to replace the 2" latex inside. 20-Year Warranty.
